La parcela ubicada en una fuerte pendiente ofrecía hermosas vistas de Los Angeles hacia el oeste. Debido a la limitada superficie del programa, el piso principal fue concebido como planta libre para ofrecer mayor flexibilidad de uso. El piso superior alberga un dormitorio en suite y demarca el área del piso inferior en que se halla la cocina, la escalera, el baño y un armario. El volumen abstracto resultante enfatiza la indefinida distribución del programa.

Lexton MacCarthy Residence

Precariously situated on a steeply sloping site, the Lexton/MacCarthy site offered wonderful west facing views of Los Angeles. Given the limited square footage of the program, the primary floor was conceived as a free plan, to allow for programmatic flexibility. The second story houses the master bedroom suite and traces an area on the first floor that houses the kitchen, stair, bathroom and closet. The resulting abstract mass emphasizes the uneven distribution of program.
